Pasta with Lemon-Garlic Sauce

Adapted from Sue Schlegel 4-6 servings

3 Tbls. Minced fresh garlic
1/3 cup olive oil
1 cup finely minced fresh parsley
2 oz. Toasted pine nuts (optional)
2 Tbls. Fresh lemon juice
2 Tbls. Lemon zest
1 lb. Cooked pasta
freshly ground black pepper
freshly grated parmesan cheese

Sauté garlic in oil until lightly golden. Add parsley and nuts. Sauté one minute. Remove from heat. Add lemon juice and zest. Pour sauce over hot pasta and toss. Season generously with pepper and serve with grated parmesan cheese.
